Author Guidelines


Journal of Management and Business Aplication  welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and academic excellence. The manuscripts must be in English, with fields not limited to economics and business, human resource management, financial management, marketing management, operational management, strategy management, business ethics. All correspondence, including notification of the Editor’s decision and requests for revision, takes place by e-mail. All articles published in  Journal of Management and Business Aplication  will be peer-reviewed. Papers will be published in the next issue of the journal after acceptance. Journal of Management and Business Aplication  will be published every January and July 

  1. Double Blind, Peer Reviewed

The peer review process is double blind. The main upload must be arranged in the following order: blinded title pageabstractmanuscriptreferencesfigures, and tables. Do not include author(s) name(s) in the text or page header. The main file can be in .doc, .docx, or .pdf format. All manuscripts are reviewed by an editor and members of the Editorial Board or qualified outside reviewers. Decisions will be made as rapidly as possible, and the journal strives to return reviewers’ comments to authors within four weeks.

  1. Article structure

The text should be in single-column format and the entire document, including references, should be 1,5 spaced. Keep the layout of the text as simple as possible. Manuscripts will generally be between 15-20 pages. The article should describe new and carefully confirmed findings, and experimental procedures should be given in sufficient detail for others to verify the work.

3.1 Subdivision

Divide your article into clearly defined sections. Each level should be done in capitalize each word, centered flush left.

  1. Essential title page information

4.1. Complete Title page

The complete title page should be uploaded as a separate document and include the following elements.

4.2.1. Title

The title should be concise and informative. Avoid abbreviations where possible. The Title Page should include the authors' full names and affiliations, the name of the corresponding author along with E-mail information

4.2.2. Author names and affiliations

Where the family name may be ambiguous (e.g., a double name), please indicate this clearly. Present the authors’ affiliation addresses (where the actual work was done) below the names. Indicate all affiliations with a lower-case superscript letter immediately after the author’s name and in front of the appropriate address. Provide the full address of each affiliation, including the country name and the e-mail address of each author.

4.2.3. Corresponding author

Clearly indicate the corresponding author. Ensure that phone numbers (with country and area code) are provided in addition to the e-mail address and the complete postal address. Contact details must be kept up to date by the corresponding author.

  1. Abstract

The abstract is written no more than 200 words containing summaries ranging from introduction to implications. Explanation of analytical methods and analysis results in abstract are not mathematical or visual, but in the form of narration and followed by with three to five keywords.

  1. Keywords

Immediately after the abstract, provide a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 keywords, avoiding general and plural terms.

  1. Introduction

The introduction contains a basic and concise description (but not a summary) of the background of the study and a relevant literature review is inserted, the purpose of the study, and restrictions on the required problems.

  1. Research Methods

Research Methods contains a brief description of the object of research and the time of the study, if necessary mention the characteristics of the population and sample selected and the method of sample selection. The identification and operation of variables is described in a solid and basic way, the outline of the data collection methods and the data analysis methods used without having to include their definitions and must be numbered in parenthesis and right alignment.

  1. Result Analysis

In the analysis section of the research results that need to be stated is proof whether the results of the analysis of the data collected can prove the hypothesis proposed

  1. Interpretation

In this section, the authors of scientific journals conduct studies between the findings of the results of the analysis of research results with the theory underlying the journal title, as well as providing a discussion that is related to the observations or answers to the questionnaire

  1. Conclusion

Conclusions are concise and precise statements based on the results of research and discussion related to the research problem. Conclusions should be stated in paragraphs

  1. Implication

The implication is a logical consequence of the conclusion of the study. The implications can be theoretical (as an enrichment of knowledge) and can be practical (ie consequences in concrete activities in the field). In this case, the implication is an operational action that must be carried out by parties who are the object of research in connection with the conclusions obtained

  1. Tables & Figures

Tables and figures should be embedded within the manuscript at the end of the document following the references. Tables and figures should be properly labeled and numbered using Arabic numerals and titles. Please make sure that all tables and figures are properly referenced within the text.

  1. Reference Style

All the references that used in the article must be listed in this part. The references must be taken from primary source (at least 50% from all references) that published in the last 10 years. Each article should has at least 15 reference. The writing format tha used in MBA Journal follows the format applied by APA (American Psychological Association) 6th Edition. It is recommended to use a reference application management, such as Mendeley, End Note or Zetero
